    Hi Andrew,

Sorry I just needed some clarification to the Nexus S 2.3.6 update. I am still sitting on 2.3.3 and wondering when I will be receiving the Gingerbread udpate. I have already tried going into the About Phone section and Check for Updates, and it says your phone is up to date. Can you please help.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

I successfully installed this update. However, I can’t access any Vodafone related sites like Vodafone Central, Music, etc. Most importantly, I cant use the Vodafone Skype on the mobile phone. Please rectify this fault.

    Cheers,
    KM

I still haven’t received the OTA update notice on my Vodafone HTC ChaCha. Manual Software Update check states :
There are no updates available for your phone. I’m still on Android 2.3.3 , Build 1.21.x
Jan 4 push out date, today is 31 Jan, don’t think its normal to take that long??
Does anyone know if this RUU is available somewhere for direct download?

      Hi Tudi,

If you’re still experiencing issues, bring your proof of purchase with you to your nearest Vodafone store so that they can assess it and put it in under warranty repair.

        Thanks Andrew

I had to set my date to 2 years ahead (2014) in order to finally getting the update notification.

But now I’m facing another problem: It keeps telling me : The downloaded system software update is corrupted. Do you want to download it again?

Did it 4 times now on 2 different internet connections. Manage to save the apparently corrupted OTA zip file, any tricks of applying that with a locked bootloader ?

        Thanks
