HTC Desire HD is free on the $49 cap, and is a better specced phone. I was looking forward to the qwerty keyboard of this device but i may just go for the normal HD…

I bought mine from an Australian store on eBay a few weeks before Voda released them for $570. I’ve since seen them for $540 outright.

Fantastic phone though. I love it.

I was considering swapping to Voda for this phone but not at its current price. You can get the Huawei x5(with the exact same specs) on Crazy johns for nothing on a $29 cap, so how can Voda justify this price!??

Correct me if I’m wrong but the Huaweii doesn’t actually have a keyboard.

the phone can be had for $500 outright landed (imported), the price 5*24 = 120 bux extra above the plan…
shame its not only 5 bux extra on the 45 unlimited..
although the extra data in the 65 dollar plan on a smart phone is defiantly a bonus…

The data included in the infinite cap is not included in tethering so the deal is actually pretty bad.

Not encouraging anything, but there’s no realistic way for the carrier to track if you’re tethered or not, unless you’re on one of the carrier specific ROMs with specific APNs for tethering baked in :P

vodafone is also selling it locked even after two years and if after that you then have to unlock it yourself.

i think it’s looking like it’s better buying outright unlocked elsewhere..
