HTC introduces HTC Connect

One of the main concerns people have when considering which phone to buy or what operating system to use is the possible connectivity issues.

Earlier this month at the E3 conference, Sony announced plans to open up their PlayStation Suite to other third-party Android manufacturers (which included HTC).

Now HTC is following this compatibility trend by announcing the HTC Connect. What does this mean for you the consumer?

In a nutshell, other devices such as speakers, Bluetooth kits/headphones and other wireless devices can seamlessly connect with a HTC smartphone or tablet. Much like the Apple’s Airport can with other Apple devices.

From a tech perspective, HTC Connect will be limited to DLNA audio and video, but it should eventually include just about anything that doesn’t involve a wire, such as Bluetooth, in-car media, NFC and wireless speakers.

What do you think of this move from HTC? Good or bad?
