Samsung Galaxy S II sold 3 million in 55 days

Samsung noted that its successor to one of the best smartphones for 2010, the Samsung Galaxy S II has now sold 3 million in 55 days worldwide.

According to Electronista, at its peak, the Samsung Galaxy S II were selling at a rate of one every 1.5 seconds.

The original Galaxy S sold roughly 10 million around the world but Samsung expects the Samsung Galaxy S II to reach that mark sooner than its predecessor

    And that is why Vodafone can’t sell you one, because they can’t get any more from Samsung! I have tried to buy one through Vodafone Direct Deals three times now and each time I get told “Sorry – we’re sold out”.
